February 2023
Well it is 2023, and in spite of all the warnings and naysayers, our world is still here and we get an enormous amount of satisfaction and sheer joy from hearing and seeing our old machines run!
Our unique contribution to Australian culture is to demonstrate and race, bikes and cars from before the early 1960s era; the very machines that created motorsport history.
Racing bikes, sidecars and sports and racing cars raced by local heroes and future champions on circuits that entertained and thrilled crowds of spectators all around Australia for decades.
Many of those circuits have gone now so we will be racing again this year at Pheasant Wood on the weekend 9th-10th September.
Pheasant Wood is a great circuit with good facilities, super smooth surface and no machine killing straights.
We will also be having a “Play Day” “Test and Tune” “Practice and Polish” on Saturday 11th March. Timed sessions for cars, bikes, sidecars slow and faster sidecars: $175.00 for the day including timing transponder and garages. If you do not hold a current Motorsport Australia (CAMS), AASA or Motorcycling Australia licence you can purchase a Pheasant Wood day licence for $30.00 (which will also be valid for the September event).

A message from Scott Hill, All Historic Racing Committee member and Pheasant Wood Circuit Track Manager:
Pheasant Wood is proud to become the home of All Historic Racing and looks forward to these events growing year on year. As most of you are probably aware there are plans to extend the circuit from its current length of 1.6km to around 3.2km in the very near future. These plans have been in the pipeline for almost 3 years now, with Covid delaying proceedings for just over 2 years. Rest assured the Pheasant Wood team is now full steam ahead to make these plans a reality, so hopefully 2024 will see the All Historic Racing event run on the longer track.
Along with planned circuit extension there are plans for a pit building with garages, driver amenities and viewing areas.
I look forward to exciting times ahead for All Historic Racing and Pheasant Wood.
