What a great, fun day we all had at the Come and Try day held on Saturday, May 13 at Pheasant Wood circuit.
Around 30 members of the public joined club members in the line to try being a passenger on a sidecar. Eight outfits were circulating throughout the day giving just a taste of the fun to be had.
Track time was shared with solos, breaking up the day and giving passengers and riders the chance to chat about their experiences as well as making for more social opportunities. Who doesn’t love a good chin wag in the pits!
Our thanks must go to everyone involved, days like this don’t happen without much time and effort from committee and club members. From those doing the planning, manning the barbecue, and marshalling, to those riding throughout the day and guiding prospective sidecar addicts, these days take a lot and ALMCC members stepped up.
But don’t just take our word for it, here is some feedback we got on Facebook.
“I had a great time! Thank you for putting in the effort to organise this event. Unfortunately I had to leave after the second 30 minute session. But I’ll definitely be back!” Jack R
“Another excellent day and well run, that’s what keeps me coming back, I just hope we don’t have to wait as long as the last one before Covid, brought a mate with me that had no idea what to expect, but all he kept talking about on the way home was how awesome the day was and I must let him know when the next day is on
