Jeff and Paris had an up and down weekend at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia. A damp qualifying saw half the teams on wets and half on slicks, with the track being half wet and half dry, nobody was on the wrong tyre, or the right one and they qualified seventh out of twenty.
Race one was dry and windy and a great start got them up to third into turn one, but pushed back to seventh by the end of the first lap and finished where they started.
Race two and with new rubber it was hoped to keep up with the front group, but when the dash lights went out on the out lap, the race was watched from the sidelines. The problem was a blown fuse caused by the killswitch shorting on the dash bracket.
The third and final race was a slightly depleted grid with three teams out and three starting from pit lane. This made the rocket like start look even more impressive, following the number 1 bike into turn one in second position. It took longer for the others to get past this time, but with two retirements in front they finished fourth.
The team finished fourth in the Australian F1 Championship, one better than last year.
