It has been proposed that a review of the current Annandale-Leichhardt Motor Cycle Club Championship structure be updated.
The reason for this review is to include all disciplines of racing undertaken by club members.
The ALMCC committee are seeking feedback on this revision, please ensure you participate in the poll at the bottom of this page, and if you have suggestions please forward them to Kevin.
Draft revised club point score structure
- To be eligible the member must be financial for the championship period.
- All meetings are eligible, not just PCRA meetings. This includes interstate and overseas meetings.
- All disciplines of racing are included – eg dirt track, motocross, road race etc.
- Points are awarded to where the rider finishes withing their class in each race, as per the MOM’s – 25 points for first, 20 points for second etc.
- In the case of sidecars both rider and passenger must be financial members of the club.
- To be eligible, published results by a recognised timing organisation must be forwarded to the nominated receiver (currently Kev Hartup) for collection within 14 days of the meeting.
- This rule will be retrospective to the beginning of the year.
- It is the responsibility of the club member to forward their results to the receiver within the time frame above, failure to do so may result in those points not being included in the championship standings.
- Due to presentation dates the last permissible results to be included will be 01 December of that year, any race meeting results after this date will be carried over to the following year.
- Handicap races will not be included.
- Only those classes depicted in the MOM’s will be included.
Winnings Points should be kept separate in each discipline.
