Annandale-Leichhardt Motorcycle Club is saddened to share with the sidecar the community the passing of one of our life members, Sandi Baglin.
Sandi has been involved with the club for as long as anyone can remember, joining in 1978, and has always been one of the proudest advocates for sidecar racing in Australia (including Tasmania).
Through the 80’s, 90’s and into the early 00’s she spent many seasons travelling the country as a passenger for various riders on speedway, historic and modern outfits.
Sandi was instrumental in the first Annandale-Leichhardt Motorcycle Club Come and Try Day in 1986, along with Jeff Rowe, which have become an integral part of our club.
As per Sandi’s wishes, there will be no public service, only a private cremation.
At our general meeting on Saturday those present shared fond memories of Sandi, and we encourage those who knew her to do the same.
