The following statement was issued by Motorcycling NSW on Tuesday, September 28 2021.
Please see below a Statement to all Voting Members. We strongly recommend that your committee and club delegates are also advised of the below.
Due to the overwhelming response to the MNSW Board nominations and to allow an appropriate amount of time for the MA Nominations Committee to conduct their reviews, discussions and interviews, the MNSW interim Board has decided to delay the sending of the ballots by two weeks. We will still allow at least seven (7) weeks for the voting members to cast their votes, which will mean we will move the announcement of appointments at the December Delegates Meeting on the 16th December (appointment was originally scheduled for 18th November).
The interim Board is aware the delay in sending the ballots out is not in line with the timing specified within the current MNSW Constitution and Bylaws, however believe it is a reasonable and appropriate decision given the circumstances.
Please note that ballots and candidate documents will be sent out via post week commencing 11th October.
